Community Events and Gatherings
MMVI is a modern village hall with rooms for hire and a bumper programme of events for the whole community. We’re right in the heart of Maulds Meaburn, one of Cumbria’s prettiest villages, and we’re also at the heart of the community. From coffee mornings to curry nights, we run events that bring people together – young and old, villagers and visitors. We’re also a well-equipped venue to hire for your own events, from weddings to fitness classes.

Talk by Nick Higgett of Eden Valley and Penrith Astronomy group, part of the YDNP
Dark Skies Festival. Did you know the MMVI building hosts the only fireball and
meteor detection camera in Cumbria and monitors light pollution? Soup and roll included.

Lancashire group that grew from an impromptu pub sing to supporting the Fisherman’s Friends
and performing at the Edinburgh Festival. Doors open 6pm, music starts 6.30pm. Bar
and finger food. Accompanied children especially welcome.

Music and stories of the world-class duo performed by Tim Chu and Ian Bailey, as heard on
